Safari For Six – The Original Boutique Safari in St Lucia.

Safari For Six is the original women-owned boutique safari company in St Lucia, KwaZulu-Natal, offering exclusive small-group safaris with a maximum of six guests per open vehicle. Founded by award-winning guide Stacey van Wyk, the only female guide to win a national Lilizela Award for Nature guiding (2017), Safari For Six combines over 22 years of guiding expertise with local talent and a personal, family-style approach.

Breaking the traditional safari's mold, we keep it small, intimate, and personal — ensuring that every seat is a window seat and every guest receives direct attention. Guests arrive as strangers but leave as friends, having experienced the region through the eyes of a passionate local team that prioritizes safety, comfort, and authentic connection.
Where We Are We are based in the coastal village of St Lucia, just 2.5 hours from King Shaka International Airport (Durban). St Lucia lies within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park UNESCO World Heritage Site, surrounded by wildlife, estuaries, hippos, crocodiles, and pristine beaches.

Our custom-built boutique safari vehicle is one of the aspects that sets Safari For Six apart in St Lucia and Hluhluwe–iMfolozi. Designed exclusively for small-group safaris with a maximum of six guests, every seat is larger and more comfortable than in a standard safari truck, giving you more space, movement, and freedom to capture that perfect wildlife photograph. With uninterrupted side viewing, no middle rows, and an all-weather design, our vehicle ensures every guest enjoys the best possible game-viewing experience in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park and Hluhluwe–iMfolozi Big 5 reserve.

Every guest enjoys added comfort and peace of mind on our boutique six-seater safari vehicle. Each spacious seat comes with a personal wooden storage box to keep your accessories dry and your valuables safe when you step out. To enhance your experience, binoculars are supplied on every trip, ensuring you never miss a Big 5 sighting in Hluhluwe–iMfolozi Game Reserve or the incredible birdlife of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. On cooler mornings, we provide warm blankets and ponchos so you stay comfortable while enjoying the open-vehicle adventure. For photography enthusiasts, camera mounts and bean bags are available on request, giving you the perfect support to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments.

Cancelation Policy.. Although Safari For Six, its guides and agents, will try their utmost to accommodate your requirements Safari For Six however has the following cancellation Policy in place. 

The Client accepts that these cancellation terms are reasonable and fair. We require written email confirmation for all cancellations. Cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival: 10% of the full charge Cancelled more than 21 days prior to arrival: 25% of the full charge Cancelled less than 10 days prior to arrival: 90% of the full charge 10% of the tariff - on all cancellations as an administration fee
